Cassandra Cordero

Cassandra Cordero is a new resident of Victoria, having moved from NSW earlier this year. She has been a piano accompanist since 2005, starting her accompanying journey at her local church, St. Francis Xavier’s Cathedral Wollongong, when she was 10. She completed her piano studies under Diana Russell and Gerard Willems AM and has received awards for solo piano at numerous eisteddfods. She completed her AMusA practical examination in 2011 and graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Music Education (Honours) in 2017.

Cassandra is currently a high school Music and Religion teacher at John Paul College Frankston. She enjoys accompanying community musicals, working with the school’s ukulele ensemble, and leading choirs in liturgical settings. She has previously been Musical Director for the Wollongong branch of Sing Australia and pianist for the Wollongong Conservatorium Community Orchestra. She is excited to start this new journey with Concordis Chamber Choir.
